Can you make it possible for young people aged 10 to 14 years old to experience life changing adventure? Could you support them in making decisions, taking the lead and developing independence, confidence and skills?
Working as part of a team of adult volunteers, Scout Leaders assist in the planning and delivery of a safe and exciting programme of outdoor activities, community projects, games, challenges, camps and even international trips!
Helping young people to grow, gain confidence and achieve awards is extremely rewarding but you will also gain new skills too through our award winning training scheme that covers everything from first aid to dealing with challenging behavior.
You don’t need to have had previous experience of working alongside young people or have been a Scout yourself. Leaders need to be at least 18 years old, enthusiastic, and organised; we will teach you the rest and ensure that you get all the training, support and mentoring you need.
We know our volunteers lead busy lives, so we’re all about flexibility. Whatever time and skills you have available, we can find a great role for you.
ScoutsCymru offers fun, friendship and life changing adventure to young people across Wales. This is only made possible by talented teams of local volunteers like you.
